Applications for 2025 are not open yet.

Applications must include an accessible shop or portfolio link. Social media sites such as Twitter or Instagram are not acceptable portfolios due to login restrictions. Social media sites can be a supplementary link but not your main portfolio. If your only portfolio link is a shop and you anticipate it will be closed during the review process, please provide a way to access your site to view your wares. Applications without an accessible shop or portfolio will be rejected. 

Applications containing AI art will be rejected. If you are selling 3D printed goods they must be your designs or designs with a commercial license. 

REMINDER: we do not allow proxy selling at MAGFest. If you plan to have a proxy, please do not apply. You are also not permitted to sell, give away, or otherwise redistribute your status/acceptance in the application process.

There is no advantage to submitting your application immediately, nor to submitting the same application more than once.

Applications will be juried. Jurying will take a few months to complete, much like previous years. This timeframe is dependent on how many applications are received.

  • Once the jury process is complete, you will receive an email letting you know the status of your application.

  • If you are accepted as a seller at Super MAGFest 2024, you will receive an acceptance email and further information on how to finalize & pay for your badge(s) and table(s).

  • If you are waitlisted, you will receive a waitlist email. The waitlist will be built only from the applications in the jury pool.

  • If you are rejected, your application will be removed from the pool and will not be considered further. However, you will be able to purchase an attendee badge at the original pre-registration price if you then decide you’d still like to attend.

  • All marketplace applicants will receive early-bird hotel booking links by default. For full details on the hotel lottery process, please visit our hotel information page. Each claimed and assigned badge will receive one link associated with the name on the badge.

  • You may find your application and its associated badges by searching for our email entitled “Marketplace Application Received.”

The application link will go live on this page Friday, August 11th at 8:00pm ET and will be open for one hour. You must submit your application in full by August 11th, 9:00pm ET. No applications will be accepted after this time.

ok, but why?

We’re always looking for ways to make the MAGFest Marketplace application process as fair as it can possibly be while also maintaining a manageable workload for our volunteer staff. Last year’s lottery was a good experiment that we may repeat in the future, but we want to refine the process before using a screening lottery again.

We love that there is a huge interest for the Marketplace and are always excited to see what everyone brings to the table! However, as a completely juried room, giving applications the thorough review they deserve is a time commitment that needs to have some form of limiter. We don’t want anyone to rush to fill out their application like in previous years with an application cap and feel like an hour window should allow applicants time to carefully complete a detailed & well crafted application.

We know the unfortunate fact of this method is there is never a time that works for everyone everywhere. Thank you as always for sharing your talents, shops, and collections with us. We hope to see you at MAGFest 2024!
