Ethan “flibitijibibo” Lee is a professional game porter, with over 50 games of experience across multiple platforms, including primarily Linux but also macOS, Windows, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Popular examples of his work include FEZ, Celeste, TowerFall, Super Hexagon, VVVVVV, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, Hacknet, Owlboy, Bleed, Salt & Sanctuary, Rogue Legacy, Flinthook, Apotheon, Cryptark, Escape Goat, Eversion, and much much more! In addition to native Linux games, he is now also working on Proton and Wine as part of a preservation effort to bring abandoned Windows games to Linux in a streamlined experience that is available as Free Open Source Software. At previous MAGFests he has run panels on SteamOS/Linux game development, PC game optimization, and XBLIG preservation with FNA, his reimplementation of the XNA Game Studio runtime libraries.
